Mark McBeth, Ph.D., teaches composition and rhetoric courses at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the CUNY Graduate Center English Ph.D. Program. Formerly, he coordinated the City College Composition Program as well as directed the CCNY Writing Center. He co-authored Teacher Training at Cambridge: The Initiatives of Oscar Browning and Elizabeth Hughes with Prof. Pam Hirsch (Homerton College, Cambridge) and has published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals.

Jay Jordan is Assistant Professor in the Department of English and University Writing Program at the University of Utah, where he coordinates the lower-division writing course and advises students in the undergraduate minor in Writing and Rhetoric Studies. His research focuses on writing and/or composition in multilingual contexts (including writing courses and engineering curricula in the US) and on histories of multilingualism in language and rhetoric education.

Sondra Perl, Ph.D., is Professor of English at Lehman College and The Graduate Center, CUNY, where she coordinates the composition and rhetoric area group within the English Ph.D. program and is a founding member of the CUNY-Wide Composition and Rhetoric Community. An acclaimed teacher and a Guggenheim Fellow, Dr. Perl lectures widely on topics related to the teaching of writing and most recently on the importance of bringing digital technology into the composition classroom.
